I am Dr. Maryam Masoumi, a psychiatrist and analytical psychotherapist. I completed my specialized education at Tehran University of Medical Sciences and have been working on a path of deep understanding of the human psyche and analysis-based therapy for more than ten years. In addition to clinical experience at Tehran University hospitals, attending international psychotherapy congresses and earning the title of Young Researcher at the World Congress of Psychotherapy 2023 have been among my professional honors.
In addition to therapy, I am also active in writing articles and translating specialized books. I currently live in Germany and my field of work is mainly with adults and focuses on creating a safe space for clients’ inner growth.

My belief is that “psychotherapy is a journey from unconscious repetition to conscious choice, where a person, in the face of his suffering, finds a new meaning for being.”
